Milestone Update · 23 April 2026
The wait is over.
After an extensive evaluation of all the innovative prototypes submitted, we are excited to announce the Top 100 teams moving forward for prototype refinement phase in the Google Cloud Gen AI Academy APAC Edition.
Phase II: Selection Results — The Top 100 teams have been officially shortlisted. Shortlisted teams will receive $100 in Google Cloud credits. Refinement window is open until 30th April for final prototype submissions. Following the refinement phase, the Top 10 finalists will be selected to present at the Virtual Grand Finale on 11th May 2026.

2Verifiable credentials
Two distinct certificates were issued for Cohort 1: an Academy Completion certificate and a Hackathon Participation certificate. Both are co-branded by Google Cloud and Hack2skill on the certificate face itself, both name the holder, both carry a unique certificate ID with a public verification endpoint, and the original signed PDFs are mirrored here.
